Return Policy

Contact our Customer Service to get an Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
All products returned to Source One Distribution North America Inc without an RMA will be subjected to 50% restocking fee.

The following criteria must be met in order to be eligible for a return.

1. Refund or exchange must be postmarked within 30 days of the original order date.
2a. Somfy/Simu Item(s) returned for a refund will incur a 40% restocking fee. Somfy/Simu Item(s) returned for an exchange will incur a 20% restocking fee.
2b. Awning roof mount brackets returned for a refund or exchange will incur a 20% restocking fee.
3. Item(s) must be accompanied by the packing slip generated from the return process noted above.
4. Item(s) must be packed in the original and unmarked packaging, including all accessories, manuals and documentation which came with the product.
5. Item(s) must not be used or altered. Controls and tests will be performed by our expert.
6. Item(s) must be returned to the designated Return facility within 14 days of the issuance of the Return Authorization.
7. Item(s) must be returned via a traceable shipping method with delivery confirmation.
8. All shipping costs must be pre-paid by the party returning the merchandise (i.e. the customer) and they are not refundable.

Incorrect Addresses and Return to Sender Packages: Packages that are shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer during the order process may be subject to an additional $14 charge if the address must be changed by the courier to be deliverable.

Orders ‘Returned to Sender by the courier are subject to a $14 charge. 'Return to Sender' orders include but are not limited to: orders for which the customer provided an incomplete or incorrect address; instances in which the customer is not available for delivery; orders for which the customer fails to provide a full physical address; and instances where the order is refused by the customer.

Defective Items: Somfy warrants their motors (Somfy & Simu) to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of five years starting at the purchase date. Drapery motors, mechanical, electrical and electronic accessories (excluding batteries) are warranted for one (1) year from the date of invoice. Awning roof mount bracket are waarented for five (5) years from the invoice date.
Following are exclusion from warranty:

  • Installation is not in accordance with operating and installation instructions.
  • When product has been opened dismantled or returned with evidence of abuse or other damage.
  • Somfy written specifications are not properly applied by the buyer when selecting the equipment.
  • If Somfy, written instructions for installation and wiring of electrical connections have not been followed.

All costs related to installation and reinstallation of equipment covered by this warranty are not the responsibility of Somfy or Source One Distribution.
If the product fails within this 5 year period, we will replace it after the confirmation of the defect.

Refunds: Refunds may take up to 30 days from the date we received the return to our facility to be processed on your credit card. 

Custom ordered like motorized drapery or Golf Ripin are nonrefundable and we will repaired or replaced due to manufacturer defect.
